Don’t overload your mom’s “To-Do” list on your wedding day. It’s not fair. Your wedding day is a very special day for her. She wants to enjoy it but she won’t be able to if she is busy overseeing all the details of the wedding. It’s not possible for her to be in two places at once. The only place she should be is by your side enjoying every minute of your wedding.
Don’t overload your bridesmaids with responsibilities. Much like mom, this is not fair. Your bridesmaids are there to help. They want to help! But delegate accordingly. They too want to enjoy your wedding. Having too many responsibilities will prevent them from doing so.
Don’t assume a Venue Planner is the same as a Wedding Planner. They are not. A Venue Planner works for the venue. They are mostly concerned about the venue and do what’s in the best interest of the venue. A Wedding Planner works for YOU! She will do whatever is in your best interest at all times.
